The Department of Management Information Systems at Tavşanlı Faculty of Applied Sciences, Kütahya Dumlupınar University, is excited to welcome its first students in the Fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. Our department stands out with its young and dynamic faculty, specialized entirely in computer science and industrial engineering. Our faculty members aim to provide students with a rich and inclusive learning experience that opens doors to the world of information technology. Our primary goal is to provide students with a solid foundation in information systems management and prepare them for a successful career. The program is located near cities with diverse industrial establishments. Our university also has a Technopark. To ensure 100% employment for our students, we have signed protocols with three different Chambers of Industry and Commerce, and we plan to increase the number of existing protocols. Management Information Systems is a contemporary discipline that seamlessly integrates information technologies and business dynamics. Our curriculum is meticulously designed to encompass courses that form the cornerstone of the fields of informatics and business, focusing on artificial intelligence. Our curriculum includes both General English and Professional English. Through these Professional English courses, our students are expected to effectively acquire the terminology and language skills specific to the field of Management Information Systems. The program is located near cities with diverse industrial establishments. Furthermore, our university has a Technopark.
